This software is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, see the file COPYING distributed with the app for details.
To implement virtual desktops, I've had to delve into the internals of OS X and reverse-engineer some functionality. There is no official way to implement virtual desktops (other programs have to do equally devious tricks). Consequently I appologise if this does weird things to your system but it works for me.
You are free to investigate and utilise the techniques used by Desktop Manager so long as you respect the license it is released under.
About Desktop Manager
Desktop Manager is my own pet project to implement a (hopefully) easy to use virtual desktop manager for OS X. I've put it up here in the hope that it will be useful to others. Simply run the app and a pager should appear in the status bar and on the desktop.
Important!
The 0.5.3 release is the most stable release and is recommended for new users. It is Tiger-compatible but no further development will be done on this branch. If you are willing to try incomplete code, you can try the latest developer build. This comes from the code which will form 0.6 but is not yet feature-complete and there may be bugs.
